I thrive off variety.

Freelancing from different coffee shops, serving multiple clients in one day and switching between writing and editing photos inspires me to do my best work.

Simply put, I am a freelance writer and photographer. I graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in public relations. Around my sophomore year of college, I started to consider a future freelance career. However, my heart was set on working in the nonprofit field, which I got to do as an intern at Convoy of Hope and as the communication coordinator at Ozarks Food Harvest, a Feeding America Food Bank. I started taking on freelance writing and photography assignments as a way to save up for my honeymoon, and I found that my freelance career started to take off faster than I could have dreamt.

Now, I am the editor of 417 Home, which I am able to do as a freelance position. My photography and writing has been published in 417 Magazine, Biz 417, 417 Home, Feast Magazine and numerous websites for small businesses and large corporations.

My husband and I are a bit addicted to traveling, but we love calling Springfield, Missouri home. I enjoy the finer things in life like cappuccinos and free samples.
